Exuul’Kin is a world which once resembled Earth, but after the cataclysmic event known as the UnDawning, the planet and all its peoples were forced to start fresh, now sharing the world with a multitude of eldritch fae entities. Some groups, such as the cowboy pirate Tránsfüggen people, fought to hold on to their heritage. Other groups, like the nomadic Native-American inspired Olkshannel people, accepted the new world and their otherworldly neighbors. Still others, including the Olkshannel’Ffiat, a cultist sub-sect of the Olkshannel people, see the arrival of the eldritch beings as a sign of punishment and seek to reforge the world by their side in penitence.
